I designed B-loc as a 'Puzzle Without a Solution.' I primarily sold the sets at shows and through my studio but the Boston Museum of Fine Arts carried these for a while as did the MIT Museum Store. This photo shows blocks from the original set consisting of 4 maple and 4 walnut units acting as mirror images of each other. They balanced in unexpected ways and the set was presented in a box with a clear acrylic front and back allowing it to serve as a patterning device while on display.
